Laser Liposuction, Lipo Laser, Laser Lipo
Laser liposuction breaks fat cells more intensively
by using laser energy and can provide skin firming
by using a second wave length.
Operation takes about 1-1.5 hours and used in
patients with nearly ideal body/mass index and
localized fat excess. Operation can be conducted
under local anesthesia and sedation, general
anesthesia is not required. Implementation should be
conducted under hospital conditions. The biggest
advantages of laser liposuction are skin firming
function and possibility of returning to daily life
earlier. The average aspiration amount in laser
liposuction is limited with 1-1.5 liters.
Body Parts for Laser Liposuction Implementation
• Neck
• Geri
• Abdomen
• Femur
• Knee
• Arm
What are the advantages of Laser Liposuction?
- Laser liposuction provides minimal invasive
- Laser liposuction does not require general
anesthesia.
- Laser liposuction can provide body contour
correction and skin firming.
- Laser liposuction can have immediate result
- Patients can return to daily life earlier compared
to conventional (classic) liposuction, it provides
less swelling and pain and required shorter corset
use.
How is laser liposuction applied?
Liposuction can correct body contour and increase
self confidence but does not create a completely
ideal body. Ideal patients for laser liposuction
technique implementation are patients with normal
body weight, firm and flexible skin structure and
fat excess in certain parts of the body. With age
being a negligible factor, skin flexibility
decreases with aging and liposuction application
indication decreases. Skin firming occurs more and
earlier after laser liposuction.
Liposuction Application
Liposuction is removing localized fats with negative
pressure through a thin tube. These thin tubes are
called cannula. These localized areas are stomach,
interior and exterior pubic area, buttocks, knees
and under chin areas. Breast enlargement in men
called gynecomasty can be successfully treated with
this method. Cannulas are located in the fat tissue
by thin cuts and volume is decreased by sucking the
fat tissue with vacuum.
First, patient should have realistic expectations.

young skin. If skin is in excess amount and has low
flexibility, surgical operations (removal of fat and
excess skin together) can be considered instead of
liposuction.
If liposuction is to be applied in small areas,
local anesthesia is enough (only sedation of the
related area), if to be applied in large areas,
general anesthesia is required. There are many
techniques under liposuction. The plastic surgeon
selects the proper technique and makes related
explanation. The fat obtained by liposuction can be
used for injection in other body parts of the
patient (lips, cheeks etc).
Operation scars in liposuction are limited with
cannula entrance holes (in 5-6 mm length) and
maximum 2 holes are drilled for each area. These
holes are closed with stitches. Special pressure
clothing (like corset) after liposuction helps the
skin on the area of fat discharge contract and fill
the gap. After operation, minimal pains, burns,
bruises and swelling can occur. With necessary
treatment for these problems, patients have a
comfortable pos—operative period. Patients can go
Geri to normal activities in 4-5 days after
operation. But recovery of swelling and fitting of
tissues (3-6 week period) are required for intensive
activities (running, tennis, aerobics etc.). After
recovery of this swelling the body contour reaches
its final form. |
